Somebody snag this car!!

Yeah, it's an auto, but so what? It's got less than 73,000kms on it. This would be an awesome project build.

Too bad it is an automatic. Other then that small omission it would make a great AE86 project car.

I'm sure with the right parts and some time, a conversion wouldn't be too difficult. Well worth it considering the condition this car is in. Cars this clean don't come along often. I'm 3/4s tempted to call them myself. I have the coin, but my garage is already full.

Yeah the condition appears to be exceptional. However, this isn't the twin cam GTS either.

Considering you'd have to swap the engine anyway, the transmission will already be out and older cars are much simpler electrically so the auto-manual swap isn't as complicated as brand new cars are now.

hmm factory A/C, 72 xxx clicks, not bad at all. But realistically, not worth the asking price imo

as much as i would love an AE86 (or any other old japanese car) i think that at over 26 years it's time to put the nostalgia factor to rest.

WTF! Its a classic, people wouldnt be driving the FR-S/BRZ without it and other cars like it.

Insanely over priced for a SR5, I'd offer max 2500. Your basically paying for the clean chasis, it doesn't even come with the 4AGE that made the AE86 the legend it is.

whatever this legend is, it's just that,

Haven't seen one outside of lapping days in years.

and the only one that i know of that competes (in autocross) is heavily modified

it's been reserved to a collector's status, modern cars are just better.

Ah whatever, Forum Trolls will be Forum Trolls.

I can't be bothered to argue with some guy on a forum.

I don't understand why anyone would go around dissing the car that inspired the FR-S/BRZ unless he was looking to start a forum argument.

Modern cars are better, theres no arguing that, but theres something special about the AE86, Its not the power, or handling, you could argue both were mediocer even by that era's standard. It's something in between, a love/hate relationship you develop with it. If you havent owned one, you just wouldnt understand, simple as that.

The car has a cult following, unfortionatly in Canada the following is very small since there arn't many still around.

Theres no point discussing beyond that since I'm sure a troll would argue theres nothing special about it at all.

Anyways to stay on topic of the thread, the car is over priced but very clean, still not worth the asking price.
