I would much rather prefer a manufacturer provide no updates, then to provide meaningless and skewed comparison results just to sell more systems.

lol. I plead the fifth. Even so, it applies to all vendors. Some may fall for that crap, but the ones who know better will notice

I don't get it, there is no info yet for hotter cams so are they an afterthought too? I'm in no hurry they have provided enough info for me to know that i would wait before making such a large purchase until all the cards are on the table.

No one's talking about N/A builds are they? That's right, they are an afterthought right now, during this onslaught of F/I.

I stated my opinion, now I'm out til I see more info. G'day.

I don't want to stick my foot in my mouth but this also comes down to customer service. You start a thread 2.5 months ago and then sporatically update your client base. I understand there is some info you have decided to not discuss for competitive reasons but its been a while and the crowd is getting rowdy.

If this kit delivers then it will probably be the best selling SC for our platform but if it doesn't, a lot of ppl won't forget that Innovate disappeared during this process.

I decided to see how much an NA build would cost with a tune, I reached nearly $4k with the options that are out now. I doubt that you would reach the type of power a SC would with an NA build. Its just not cost effective.

exactly my thoughts! this lack of updates to me is lack of customer service.
i wonder if this is how long it will take to get questions answered if u have issues with their products.

Subjective feeling, not objective gains. I'm aware N/A is more dollars per horsepower, but that's something I'm willing to accept if there's a certain feeling I want to maintain. Those of you who want numbers can get numbers, but I'm interested in more than that.

Na motors deliver an organic tq curve vs say turbo FI ... The feeling of linear tq offered by a bigger motor is more closely replicated by sc than turbo, and much is determined by the solution, ie, not all sc offer the ability to allow a tuner to emulate dropping a bigger motor feel..

I think that's what he means... Turbo can often hide lag but often there are throttle response differences read compromises with turbo vs sc.

I would sooner consider the innovate or full blown options over avo for our second build...tho she has told me I can't mod it till its outta factory warranty, we will see about that. I may just have to give her my m3 to commute with, oh the sacrifices...

Now if only innovate we're seeking a track tester who owned more than one FI solution...

I FI'd my last car and i personally didn't mind the mild lag I had. Once it caught on the torque pinned me to my seat. I do think I know what you mean by bigger motor feel.
