I think a low sloping hood would only result in a pedestrian falling further and thus crashing harder onto said hood. To my knowledge the only requirement for that stupid Euro law is a set clearance space between the top of the engine and bottom side of the hood. No minimum height rule, or minimum sloping angle rule.

Regardless, this rule/regulation has wrecked havoc on car designs the last 10 years. I think it's entirely to blame for the current "chunky" look that is rampant with the majority of current models

You can kind of tell it's staggererd at this angle but @ .5" wide it's not that noticeable unless you are actually there to see it at multiple angles.

Now we kinda know what kind of wheel offset we can expect (45, 48 or 50)

All in all, does anyone want to make a rendering out of one of these spy pics?

´cause it´s not hellaflush.... lmao

Regarding S2000 comparisons, I don´t expect the FT86 nowhere near as quick as an S2000 in lap times, unfortunately. But it will be cheaper, more practical, and with some decent aftermarket everything is possible.

I found some more spy pics on the worldcarfans website. Apologies if its a repost but i cant find these posted up anywhere else on the forum. Some are new and some are just higher res versions of ones which we have already seen.

Enjoy!

wow the swirling camo actually does alot to mask the lines

in these pics tho you can see alot more of how the car is gonna look and I must say doesnt have the pull any of the concepts but its still gonna be a rather nice looking car

WoW, ERA, anyone wanna "unmask" this car?

@ Everybody wondering about how it will compare to the S2k, guys seriously, the car is there to test. Not for lap times or a **** measuring contest with Honda. While I'm sure some idea could be gauged, it's hardly a realistic apples to apples situation.
