I've been lurking this last three months and I still don't have my 86. So much bs from Toyota Makati, Pasig, Cubao, and Shaw... I can't seem to find my ride without paying a premium. My choice is a RED Automatic. I've talked to a few Agents and said that I'm willing to wait ...even if the I get the unit March or April AS LONG AS SRP P1,650,00. But to no avail. Not one was willing to accept my deposit. All units are either bundled with Accessories or worse require financing...and get this It must only be 20% cash payment and the rest financing minimum 3years.

Congrats again. I'll try giving Dasmas a ring tomorrow. Thanks for the Heads Up. Any assistance leading to my Srp purchase would be appreciated. Peace.

Paul, try to call toyota batangas. I ordered last december 23 and got it dec 29.. inhouse insurance lang pinakuha nila sa akin

Hi Paul,

Toyota would not take my deposit either, what I did was get pre-approved for finance (which I didn't plan on getting) to show Toyota I was really serious/interested.

When I found out the unit arrived I went to the dealer and offer to pay cash for the car and for their overpriced insurance. Done deal.

I suggest finding a unit in stock, if you can put the cash together for a 1 time payment you can probably do the deal.

Call Andrew Tan @ Dasma, he's a good guy.

Wasn't aware the 86 was available in the Philippines. Pretty cool! I'm sure the car will stand out alongside all the jeepneys and Honda Citys/Toyota Vios ü. It would be so cool to have this car there, but all the bad roads and floods in the province would mess it all up for me :/.
