How I paid list price at Toyota Philippines
 

I got a call from Toyota Dasma who reported a p1.565m WP M/T arrived.

lots of back and forth on the price, finally they said I had a choice.

- some huge fee for the "TRD Package", which I didn't want.

- or 60mos of financing which comes out to about ~p2.3m

I went to Dasma today to try and force a deal.

Ended up getting the 86 for p1.565 cash.

to make this happen I offered to pay cash for a Super Grandia (at list price) which was in my plans to buy.... but not exactly today....

They agreed.

also, I had to buy the 3 year LTO + 1 year Toyota insurance for both, but not a crazy price so ok lang.

anyway, both will be ready for pickup tomorrow.

fyi - Dasmas has 3 more 86's on the lot

Congrats! I also got a call from my dealer yesterday, they informed me that my Lightning Red M/T 86 is arriving. Finally, 6 months after I put a 100k deposit :happyanim: The car will be delivered to our office tomorrow. No in-house financing and TRD kit add-ons, they only requested that we insure the car with them.

They have Red, Hot Lava and ....can't remember. the hot lava has the TRD aero package with the big wing. looks cool but a bit much imo.

Picked it up tonight - what a blast!

Took it out a few times and got the tires spinning with ease.

1st order of business after starting is turning off all of the Traction control. I'm going to get in (fun) trouble with this thing for sure.

if you can get the cash together, get one asap.

and here we go.... :)
