imma venture a guess towards the hood lines being there but covered based on how obviously they covered the frs style hood dip in the front

Well, it's good thing for us, so we can kinda figure out lap time & some what of spec we can expect from it (sort of).
Awww ya beat me too it. I saw it in the PDF and looked it up. Gazoo Racing has done all kinds of stuff to all kinds of cars from the iQ to the LFA, everything in between and beyond.

I am sure they will post some sweet pics of the "Gazoo'ed" FT-86 after TMS. But it might not be a bad idea to keep a very close eye on their page incase the leak pics after/during the race.

im talking about the hood vent on the FR-S concept.

on the production model it's relegated to a line. it makes the front look way better imo.

Looks 17's to me... but brakes in other hand, that's not regular brakes we've seen while testing on at the Nur.

That is true but either Scion or Subaru may offer this wing as an oem accessory so it would have to open correctly. It is still open to discussion.
The one shown in this thread is clearly a Right-Hand Drive (RHD) car found in UK/Australia/Japan. However, I think there was another Ft-86 that is Left hand Drive testing on the Ring. That suggests that there might be multiple cars shown here. (It is not that easy to replace the steering wheel on the same car, right?)

I would think that Toyota/Scion/Subaru will eventually provide some types of wings for FT-86. However, if this car has a trunk with that huge wing, it definitely posts a problem to make the trunk functional, unless you have to un/screw it from time to time, like Dragonatti did with his tC.

Anyone know the time differences between the race LFA and production LFA at the 'Ring?

And what are the levels of mods for each class? Could extrapolate some performance of the stock FT86 maybe?

It was a typo. As mentioned, that rear is very last gen Celica-ish. I do agree, it would be pointless to have a wing that size on a trunk and not have it fully open for a street car.
