Success...finally. Ran the update a second time and did the RenewalIFLib.dll step before that.
Thanks a ton! |

With how easy it is to pull this radio out and switch the pins, Id much rather do the hardwired method than mess with the software. Just my opinion though, Thanks OP for sharing. (even though I have US spec, I sell Pioneer at my store)

Do you have a picture of what it looks like? The Pin you are moving is in a plug that goes into the back of the Pioneer unit, they couldn't have really changed that plug without changing the entire radio cage and basically redesigning the radio. If they are already using the mute wire you could always just add a wire to the empty slot and ground it out.

![]() OEM doesn't use the white connector at right upper conner. So it is harder to identify the cable.

I wasn't able to find the hex string under PRG0, but found it under PRG1.... was anyone else able to find the correct hex string under the PRG0 Navi.exe, or only in the PRG1 Navi.exe?
EDIT - on the third AVIC411 link provided, it says that the Navi file used is under the PRG1 folder if there is a USER folder that contains a PRG.FLG file. I edited the Navi.exe file from the PRG1 folder and it all works great now. Last edited by Ben_G; 12-29-2012 at 05:47 PM. |
