anyone know the differences between getting the 16mm vs the 14mm camber bolt?

and what happens if you do decide to install the 16mm camber bolt on the bottom slot?

The 14mm won't fit properly.

Also whiteline only recommend using the bottom hole for race because the bottom bolt is more load bearing and experiences higher loads. So using a camber bolt there should only be used for those who track the car. As more attention is paid to re-tq bolts, re-doing alignments etc.

On a street car they know those bolts wont be checked for damage, slipping and proper torque.

according to this thread, the 14mm will only fit if you slot it through the bottom hole, but as you mentioned, the bottom hole is more load bearing and not recommended for street use.

it appears that the 14mm works, but it's just not the ideal bolt for the brz/frs when adding negative front camber, correct?

It looks like the same exact bolt. Even matches up to the Whiteline specs.
(For RSX, RSX Type S)

thanks. it's weird how the silver finished bolt has lower torque spec compared to the traditional zinc bolt.

Yeah unless the metal is softer on the silver finished bolt or it may be referring to the 14mm?

i think it assumes all silver finished bolts are to be torqued to that specific torque spec.

see the instructions below are found on the 81280.

Interesting that they use two different materials.

just a bump...

camber plates alone do not offer much range of adjustment on the front of this car. you will need plates and upper bolts (whiteline kca416) to get a proper range. maxed out, my HSD coilover camber plates only allowed about -1.5 camber at most when lowered.

the rear is also finnicky... I have Cusco LCA's and they don't quite allow for neutral camber when lowered 1.5 inches or more. I recommend shorter arms with more range or a secondary camber correcting method for the rear as well.

factory caster adjustment is also not very ideal

toe adjustment is a non issue with factory parts

hope this is helpful
