Monkey: Love the Celica!
![]() Quigonjay: Nice MR2, probably one of my favorite. Curious though, over here we call that a MKII (or 2nd Gen) MR2. Do you all differentiate the AW10 and AW11 as two separate Revisions/ Generations? |

thanks guys for the comments on the Celica
![]() and nice MR2 Turbo! gotta love the 3sgte engine! ![]() About the Rev question with the MR2, its referring to the revision version of the Mk2 MR2, not which 3sgte engine it had (altho the engine was changed to the 3rd gen 3sgte on the Rev 3 IIRC) http://www.mr2turbo.info/diff.html

lol, sorry for the confusion
in the uk we call the cars by revision as we got them up to '99 (only na cars) rev1 - '90-'91 same as what you call gen1 rev2 - '92-'93 same as what you call gen2 rev3 - '94-'95 same as what you call gen3 rev4 - '96-'97 rev5 - '98-'99 i think where the confusion lies is that you guys call the cars by the engine variation (making all 94+ cars gen3) and we call them by update variation regardless of engine it just also happens to be true that all jdm turbo cars come like this - rev1 - your gen1 engine rev2 - your gen2 engine rev3+ - your gen3 engine hth Jay |

I usually keep my cars to their specific forums but I think it's important to point out my enthusiasm. Yeah it's all screwed up from the track but hey its fun!

Not for immediate customization, but as a daily to get me through the rest of college. Afterwards, much like my AE86, I have plans for it as well. I'd like an MX83 but I won't turn down a good condition X73 in the least. First on the list would be a manual transmission. |

My only advice for daily x8 is put in na 2j or buy an x7 instead. 20 years old 7m is NOT good for reliability.
I really can't wait for this new corolla thing to come out. |
