one more thread where a bunch of ****s will chime in on how either toyota or subaru did either everything or nothing. if you go to a subaru dealer and buy a car badged as a subaru and pay insurance on a subaru, you probably have a subaru. to my knowledge its subarus first attempt at a quintessential sports car and a very successful one in my opinion.

Toyota designed it, Subaru built it, Scion rebadged it.

It's definitely a scooby. Yet another reason I bought it over the Scion. If they had sold the FT86 here, I may have considered it. I wasn't about to buy a Scion though. Since they are aimed at younger crowds, insurance is going to be crazy. People keep wrecking them too. I have seen way more "I was hit by" or I crashed my car" threads over on the FR-S side of the house.
But back on topic... this car is far more subaru than it is Scion or Toyota IMO, so I gladly call it a scooby!
