Maybe the ISF was jealous of the FRS, because it now gets all the attention from their Daddy Toyota. Just Sibling rivalry gone too far. :'(

OP..Which one do you have?

For everyone else, I'm sure there are tons of threads, but which 1 or 2 dash cams rank the best in your opinion.
Could you link me to that thread? Interested.

Your dashcam works while the car is parked? Powered by battery?

I love watching people do this.

Only explanation I can imagine. Considering the time, and area, he was probably very drunk.

It's wired to a hot fuse through a device that cuts power if the battery begins to run down. I have it set to shock sensing. It's on all the time but only writes to the SD after sensing a shock, a few seconds before the shock up to a minute or two after.
In this case motion sensing would have been better but I'll need a 64GB card for the 24 hour window I want to retain. The slightest motion sets it off and it ends up running 24/7.

I believe the camera can run for about 3 days before the voltage cutout.

Buckled the fender fore and aft, scraped through the paint, cracks in the paint running down the fender, other scattered damage. Kinda hard to see in this cell phone photo. Nothing big but body work is never cheap. I'm looking forward to hearing the owner deny it.
