Thanks for limiting the driver's to 20 Bob! Although we still got alot of seat time before, this should be great! Looking forward to the new course layout!

You guys are missing a great opportunity to truly "learn" your car, I have gained and learned alot from the last 2 sessions as far as where my car starts to "slip" and where the actual power is.

This is a perfect opportunity for the FRS/BRZ community, it's a no-ego event where there is no time wasted and no BS standing around. Excited for Saturday!

I read this thread a little too late. Couple of new guy questions.

1.I have an AT, can these even drift(sorry if this sounds dumb)

2. Damage to the vehicle. All the drift events I have seen on tv the cars have been bumping into walls, cars, curbs, small children. what is the likelihood not scratching up my baby?

I have an AT too!! I wasn't really able to drift (still learning), but I had the instructors drive my car a couple times and got her to do some cool tricks. Not sure if it was "real" drifting, but it was super fun.

If you don't hit a cone, you'll walk away without any damage. The course is designed for you to have PLENTY of space to spin out; it's all part of being able to learn the limits of your car and let loose a little. I got a minor dent/scratches from the first event, but only because I hit the bottom part of a cone. You can hardly see it......

HAVE FUN!!

1. It is possible, best bet is to just go out and give it a try, no one is there to judge you as we all are learning. There will also be available instructors to help you.

2. There are only cones at this course, if you hit one hard enough you will put a small dent in your car or scratch up your bumper.
Hopefully at this event they will have smaller cones at the exit points.

Either way, you should come out before the spots fill, it's a legal way to enjoy your car!
