I found that in my hand, the sphere size of the TRD was a little small and i wanted more weight so i designed and had Chris @ LW make me this:
![]() I increased the height .5", sphere size up to 2" and had it made out of aluminum. I love the feel of the shift knob when holding it from the side and it feels like a ball knob from the top. The aluminum with bead blasting comes pretty close to the silver finish on my FR-S interior trim. Only draw back is in the morning it's cold! On the other end, it doesnt get too hot in the sun.

Interesting. I prefer my VooDoo over the stock one as it is shorter, making reverse engagement quicker(for me at least). I can fit the knob and grab the reverse lockout with two fingers quite easily, don't have to twist my arm to get my hand to 'stretch' the get into reverse.

Yeah but how often do we all have to select reverse, compared to rowing through the gears in daily driving?
on a seperate note, you drove past us on High Road the other day in the arvo no? |
