you have to really screw up to hit the walls!! i know i have hit them! and hit them a few times. lol. But that's because i was playing how close can i get before i touch. As for the tire, the last time i hit it, it wasn't filled with concrete lol. the first day i took my car out to the track after finishing it i smashed that tire , i just kept going.
I wouldn't worry too much about the walls. you can control the car before you smash them. I have lost control a few times in 3 third gear doing around 70mph spinning out and managed to not smash the wall. Also if you are just running laps and not hanging out the rear then you should be in even more control then those of us that are out there drifting. This was the aftermath of hitting that tire. broken bumper, broken motor mount, broke the intercooler, smashed the intercooler pipe. Nothing i couldn't fix over a weekend.

been up there a couple of times and the track is pretty manageable. I don't drift, but I have run a few autocrosses up there.
I'd reccomend anyone that wants to go up and try it to do so. At least go up there and see if some of the drivers can give you a ride. I know how hard it is to take the chance of wrecking your car. |

I have two Limited BRZ's on the lot ready for immediate delivery. Please call for more info if interested. I have a silver 6 speed and a white auto. Both cars have Delivery miles only....neither has been test driven. email me at chris@wagnersubaru.com I don't have any bullshit fees or additions to drive the price up. Only a $150 doc, lic. and registration fee. In other news, one of my customers already hit a deer.

Must have been an omen when Ken Gushi almost hit the deer with the FT86 before release. There have been several deer vs FR-S/BRZ now.

I am posting this to see if there is any interest in setting up a Toyota Car Corral for the Grand Am race this coming June. The benefits are reduced ticket prices. $40 advanced which would include weekend pass, pit pass, preferred infield parking and a lap of the track (time permitting).
Other marques that are already set up with car corrals are: Porsche Mustang Mazda Corvette Camaro/Firebird With the FR-S scheduled to compete in the new GX class and the Continental Challenge Street Tuning class there will again be a Toyota car worth rooting for. We would need a commitment from 15-20 owners in order to secure a corral. We could also plan a BBQ for lunch. I will post this on the FT86 forum also to help get enough interest for us to qualify. i have gotten decent interest from Spyderchat, Facebook and the Cleveland group. I would need to know by the first week of March who wants to do this in order to get our space reserved and lock down the cheaper ticket prices for everyone.

I was perusing google maps to see what sort of interesting areas I could get myself into trouble at and I found this place.
https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou...8&z=16&iwloc=A A quick search shows that some organization called Construction Schools of America owns the place. That was a quick quick search on google and that organization didn't lead to any other ends. I did a quick drive by today to see if the property was open but it was not. There is a locked fence on the road just before the railroad tracks. Does anybody have any decent resources to find out who owns this property? It could be rather interesting for a small group to rent out for a day if the pavement isn't hugely torn up.

up to 180 miles so far on it. Did 60 miles at both levels. Did the same pull last week for each level. Temp difference was about 19 deg. colder on the new tune.
