Hi Bob,

I never look in this forum, so I missed your thread. My name's Brett (big surprise!).

I have an Asphalt manual transmission on order as part of the First 86 program. I also haven't decided on the BRZ or the FRS yet, so luckily I can duck out of the First 86 at any time and get my deposit back. I have a feeling I will make the decision once pricing comes out, and it will probably be the Scion.

I've been dealing with Gregory Marshall at King's Scion since I initially placed a deposit back in December. He's the first new car dealer that I haven't wanted to strangle (so far, knock on wood :bonk: ).

I live in the Mason area and I ride my bike out of Loveland all the time. I mostly ride on the roads, so I'm one of those guys holding up traffic going North out of Loveland :).

hello from another lovelander. been lurking the forums for awhile but since you made this thread, i decided it's time to come out of silence for some camaraderie. i will be moving out of loveland closer to downtown in the next few months though.

anyhow i currently drive a '11 wrx, looking to trade for the brz. but since my wife and i are in the process of purchasing a house, it may be difficult to convince her that the need for more money is worth it...but i must have this car. can't wait to test drive it.

Hey guys, so far the tri-state group is very localized!

Brett, I too ride, but I stick to the trails personally. Also ride urban freeride whenever I can.

Hiko, are you on Cincinnatisubarus.com? I'm an honorary subie guy, and they are a very active group of folks, you should check it out!

I live in Erlanger/Florence area in NKY and work in Walnut Hills. Not as much of a car enthusiast as most others on here, but it's time for the '92 Celica to go soon. I figure the FR-S/BRZ could be a nice next car! Nice to see some others from the area interested.

Hey guys,
I live in Florence, work in Erlanger (at Toyota). I have the first white or grey FR-S that comes to Dry Ridge Toyota on order.

I'm a big time car enthusiast. I've mostly had BMWs: '98 Z3 2.8, '95 325is, '06 Z4 3.0si Coupe, '87 SpecE30 race car. But I've also branched out a bit: '04 RX-8, '88 Fiero GT (childhood dream come true). I was saving for an E90 M3 (current V8 4-dr model), but ran across the Fiero last year and couldn't pass on it (16,000 original miles!). So I had to drop my price point by about $10k for a car this year. I also have a Fiat 500 Abarth on order, but I will drop that order for the FR-S.

I road race competitively (http://AnthonyMagagnoliRacing.com) and have a side business that do private driver coaching, vehicle setup, and race support through (www.DriveFasterNow.com). Through that, I have also become the Test Driver and Vehicle Performance Advisor for Falcon Motorsports and their F7 supercar that was just unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show (www.FalconF7.com). While that car weighs only 100 lbs more than an FR-S, but with over 3x the power, I don't think horsepower is a requisite for fun. I loved my RX-8 in a way that I expect the FR-S to fulfill.

See you guys around.

Well... I just put a deposit on an ultramarine manual FR-S! Looks like I'm next in line behind you, Brett. :happyanim:

Also Anthony, I work right down the road from you, at Ancra International LLC, it's up Mineola on the right as you go up the hill to the airport.

I know a few guys that work at Toyota, do you know Brendan Osborne?

I think I got a ticket right in front of your place a month ago or so... lol.

No, I don't know Brendan. I might know his car if it's anything unique.
