Classes are based on Driver experience, not car modifications since this isn't a timed event/race event.

The Time Attack/AutoX was kinda just judged by what they thought your car to be, so hence why I was matched up against a Race Car, cause there were no real professional judge to class the cars.

The Mustang Race car that beat my time by 2sec while I had a passenger in the car, couldn't have a passenger in his....cause he has only one seat! I could have protested, but nah, I was more interested in giving my friend a ride than really even competing for best time in my group. Overall, I think I was 4th fastest car behind the two Porsche 911 Turbos, and that Race car Mustang. About 30 cars participated in it.

You will see it in Pt. 2 of my video that I'm putting together.

PS...I don't run slicks (not yet anyway)

Sorry if you said this somewhere else, but do you have the underbody shaped?

No, only a front splitter that stops before the front axles. You would be placed in Unlimited class in Time Attack if you run underbody panels.

Cool vids!

Somebody should film (the exterior) as you go rippin' around the track and edit the footage together. That'd be sweet!

^Thanks man. The Cayman S chase is from external. Just waiting to see if my boy loads it for me, or I just might get the vid from him and put it together myself.

Couple of reasons is that it gets a little boring just watching lap after lap unless you spice it up. There aren't a whole lot of cars I'm coming close quarters with through the whole turns and what not, so I put some tunes in. You can still hear the car so it's best of both worlds.

The exhaust note is a combination of external wastegates and exhaust.

The thing is, it's not boring. It may sound boring to you, but when I'm trying to gauge the reaction of your car through the exhaust note, it becomes difficult when the music is 75% of what I hear. Besides, who needs music when you have a roaring exhaust?

BTW. If your looking to get high quality sound, one of the solutions may be to hook up microphones in the engine bay and near the exhaust. Time consuming, difficult and expensive, yes, however the results are marvelous and informative.

It was just fine Dragonitti. . The bigger problem was the microphone didn't record the high notes. Does it shake and clunk that much incar?

I need to redownload them, especially the track videos, didn't capture them all. Plus I didn't realize you had them in 720px resolution .

Oh and thanks for sharing your start up routine.

I would have preferred no music, this is a legitimate "racing" video not some street racing video .

Blur, I know it's a Honda Accord(not hating) but did you really have to share a high speed parking lot video?

The other reason why I added music was to cover the wind noise and the static that my camera makes due to tone of the car. It sounded like TV static when there is no signal.

When I get a cam meant for this type of stuff, then I won't put music on it. I could compile them without music since I saved the project files.

Yeah I can shoot in 1080p @ 30fps or 720p @ 60fps. I went with 720p.

Yea, I'm that awesome. I can has street cred?

On a more serious note, it's difficult to find a track around here. I can only hope that the area that I shot in has another autoX event . . . so I can unleash it without worrying. The video that was shot was simply to record the exhaust note though. I don't race at all. NYC sucks. bah.

Back on topic. It would be nice to see the racing without the music, if you could recompile it that way it would make it much better . . .
