The Godfather

The Godfather just added me to his friends list on facebook. My 86 journey is *almost* complete. I say ALMOST because I haven't got my AVO turbo yet

Congratulations, that is truly an honour and a priviledge bestowed by the Master of all things 86.

There will always be haters (or people with opinions). I personally would not change a thing. Every single mod you have done, would be duplicated by me if I had the money.

Shoulda got a lowered racking jack from the start..

Got a call from City Subaru.. Rhys there told me my nuts had come in.

Lesson well learnt here, double check and then triple check to make sure everything is tightened down/torqued to spec.

While I was out, I decided.. fuck it.. I'm going to buy that $660 Aluminium racing jack from MALZ. The car has been up and down on jack stands so many times. Went there and asked if I was able to check if it would fit under the front of my car. Turns out one of the managers there has bought an 86 too Guy was asking me all about it.
Bad news is that the $660 jack doesn't fit under the front of the car.
Good news is that they have a better model and CHEAPER than that one(although not aluminium) but it also only takes 2-3 full pumps to go full height, and it has a longer nose.
Lowered Height: 63mm
Max Height: 500mm
Much better stats than the $660 one(95mm-470mm)

They are out of stock, but the guy there said it should be in tomorrow, so tomorrow I will yet again raise the car and take off that midpipe.

Forgot to upload these

There were taken a couple of days ago. They are the new fogs I received from @KI_ZN6. Very happy with them. They are slightly less 'blue' to the light too.
It looks blue from afar, but when you bring your hand or a piece of white paper up to the fog light, its pure white.

You probably have mentioned it, but which Malz do you go to? If it's Balcatta then I find it amazing we haven't run into each other yet :P

As for the jack I found it only really matters (most of the time) if the tallest part of the body of the jack will clear the car and that how the pump arm/lever is pivoting. However I need a light jack now as the one I got (similar specs to yours, well not as low) is too god dam heavy

Something like this probs would be best:

I went to the Cannington one. Do you work at MALZ? The guys at the Cannington store said that Balcatta had some of those jacks and that they'd be getting them from there tomorrow for me. And the guy who served me(Carl) said one of the manager has an 86? That could be you?

Nope! I don't work at Malz, but I go there enough to be questioned

I'll have mine in 3 weeks though so I might look at getting another jack

If that is the case, than I will have to find the best possible way to make the hole larger. Any suggestions? I was thinking a very fine knife or hot hole puncher or something.
You won't have to cut the KDT926 bushing, the hole in that is massive.
I'd like to see pics of the cradle brace though once setup. Because the flat part of the WL bushing looks about 2mm thicker than it should be(imho).
