Wow, looking at the installation video this is an excellent deal. The specialized connectors are an excellent addition, as is building the amps in to the enclosure.

To be honest I don't think you could come anywhere close to this for the money - especially when you consider that the only permanent mods are bending one tiny hidden bracket and cutting a 1x2" hole in the carpet.

Any reviews regarding the changes in the sound? I'm quite curious - the stock tweeters are a little harsh, so I'd love to know how this changes them. Obviously there's more bass with the kit :P

I'm still waiting for the Subaru OEM subwoofer, it is supposed to be 10" and $300... but no sign of it yet

Looks like a great kit and the install looks very clean, though id like a system that would replace all the speakers like they do for the XB and others

I just installed it this weekend. It is a very well designed system. I have done quite a few full installs in my previous cars and was trapped into thinking that unless I replaced all the stock speakers, the sound would not be good. Not so. The stock speakers are quite good.

The replacement tweeters do not sound clipped when peaking. The harshness is gone. Also there are two modes you can play with. You can either set it on FRS or switch to TC. The dynamic range is quite different for both. The company did a great job designing their DSP unit.

I am going to hear a demo on this system this weekend. From the way it sounds, many of you that installed this are quite pleased. So was it worth the price of $1099? Are any vendors offering this system for less? Will the sound cut through the exhaust note? I have the Greddy Evo3, but I installed GTMat in the trunk area to dampen the sound a little. Did any of you put any kind of sound dampening in the doors, floor or headliner? If so, did it change the sound?

big advantage to this system: BACKED BY FACTORY WARRANTY. In the local KC scion club page one member was having trouble with his dealer because his amp wiring job drained his battery to the point of it needing replacing. No worries with this.

Even though it is still not yet available, the Subaru accessory parts lists that I have seen show it as $500 with an invoice to the dealer of $420.

It certainly isn't grossly overpriced for what you get, although I think the reason that people avoid building the amps into their sub boxes is because 1) heat could be an issue depending on the units, and 2) more unoccupied air space inside the box is usually better.

I have one and the change in sound is amazing - for 950 -- you get the sub and the dedicated amp - you get a whole new amp for the remaining speakers. the new tweeters are way better than stock and all the cabling and parts are included. the ipod sounds fantastic and i had the crappy headunit - so i just recently got the bespoke just because i wanted the pretty touchscreen display - its amazing. its not anything crazy and if youre prob <25yrs old u may not think its fantastic but for the money aand its all under warranty and very very clean - those guys know what they are doing. this was the first thing i upgraded and no regrets. sound is crystal clear and more than enough for most people.

the best thing is all this connects to the head unit with a simple oem plug .. no screwing around with rca cables or any of that crap --

theres my2Cents

Rikdrt1, where did you get it for $950? I think I'm about to pull the trigger on this for my BRZ.
