Did you install it yourself? Is it easy to take out if you were trying to temporarily save room/weight?

At 1100$, it's cheaper to get a custom box made lol

I'll wait for the OEM one:

Shouldn't be. We are making the corner OEM-like enclosure for $200-300 (without subwoofer and amp).

10" is the main focus for now, but 8" corner enclosures are a possibility.

Is it on the passenger side of trunk for better weight distribution? How to access spare if you need to?

I like the OEM fit but seems a bit pricey, hmm

Our enclosure or the one in the original post?

The optomize sub is a bit more than just a box. It includes:
  • Front 1" Soft Dome Tweeter
  • Factory Speaker Optimization
  • Multi-Channel 32-Bit DSP Amplifier (360 Watts RMS @ 2-ohms)
  • Subwoofer Amplifier (120 Watts RMS @ 2-ohms)
  • Quick-Sync "Plug & Play" Wiring Harness
  • 8'' Dual Voice-Coil Carbon Fiber Subwoofer System

ya honestly its a pretty reasonable deal for whats included, gives a lil better sound and makes it an easy install.

i thought for the 2 new amplifiers, the real nice sub (that isnt too overwhelming for this little car) -- these guys at OEM really did their homework.

the best thing is that it comes with all the wiring that pretty much anyone can do. it was an easy install and adds some power to all the speakers -- the DSP amps change it a bit and make the door speakers sound much better and the new 1" tweeters are a big improvement over the stock. when i first got in the car after i powered it up i couldnt beleive it -- very very well balanced and all the plugs are OEM -- cant beat it if you ask me. Highly recommend it for sure.

Oh, btw to answer this question you can get to the spare with no issues - dont even need to move it or do anything. i have the carptet-mat in the back and left it underneath so i do have to yank the carpet around but it opens real easy - they thought of that apparently.
