Actually, that was just me playing around with some ideas, and I stuck one of our standard GrimmSpeed stickers that comes with all of our products to the strut body. It looks cool, but some people will hate it. Luckily stickers are easy to apply and remove. We will continue to keep everyone updated!

Hi, what is about the problem, that the hood comes up for 5-7 mm over 200km/h in the middle section? When the dampers fix the hood mechanical and the hood isn't only hold by the OEM front hook, i think its possible that this problem wont exist anymore? A video at this speed would be fine, if Its possible to Drive so fast without getting trouble with the cops in the USA ?!

I think I understand what you are saying, but I was not aware of this issue previously. I'm assuming that there is a fair amount that the hood lifts up in the center section (5-7mm) after 200km/h.

I unfortunately can not answer your question as I'm not familiar with this phenomenon. There is no where safe to take the car up to those speeds locally, so I've never seen any sort of hood lifting. Do you have any links to video or forum posts where this has occurred to other owners? I'd be happy to take a look and see if there is anything I can do.

I don't see how the dampers would change the behaviour of the hood when it is in the closed/latched position. In this position, the factory latch is what is holding the hood down and I don't think that the factory hood prop or any aftermarket dampers are going to make a difference.

BTW, where are you doing 200km/h (124Mi/h) anyway?

He's from Germany! I was stationed there, and let me tell you: I used to get up to 120mph almost daily, legally. The autobahn across the country was such a beautiful drive, with the normal speed limit of 130 km/h (82mph) and some spots have no speed limit. Gorgeous road conditions, courteous and well behaved drivers who knew how to drive.

BTW, I'm also in for the dampers when you make em, Grimm.
