I'm watching all these power adders popping up and it's great fun. It will be very tempting to go with an SC or small turbo, but I'm going to wait and see. I don't want to upset the balance of the FR-S so if bolt ons, cams and tune start getting people past 200whp on pump, I might roll that way.

Are you referring to this engine?

http://store.crawfordperformance.com/store/products/654

It looks like a regular block with some nice pistons installed. Perhaps I don't understand what they are trying to say in the description.

As far as MCCM(Music City Car Meets) we are done until spring, and as far as I know nothing will be going on. I work till 9pm and then have to head to Mburro for the MCCM meeting to plan the 2013 events lol. So I won't be around tomorrow

Hey @nashsnazzy. Two days in a row now I've seen a whiteout on my way to work coming from Bellevue area toward downtown. You wouldn't see me because my wife and I commute to work together in her TSX. Is that you around 8:15am on I-40?

Hey Nashville folks! I work behind the Best Buy in Cool Springs. I've been seeing more and more of the FT-86 twins around town lately. I'll have to have one of you give me a ride at some point so I can see what I missed out on by going with a GTI instead of the BRZ.

Do you work at CHS? I suspect you would need to drive an FR-S down a fun road to really understand the gravity of the difference. The GTI is nice and more sophisticated though.

I keep seeing a red FR-S that's by Wendy's/Jersey Mike's off Mallory Lane (in Cool Springs). Are you on here?

Yep, I work at CHS. I had a tough time deciding between the BRZ and the GTI, but I figured the GTI would be more practical. It also has (IMO) one of the best interiors available. The torque is addictive. It responds to mods ridiculously well. I LOVE the GTI... but every time I see a FRS/BRZ I wonder what I'm missing out on by driving a FWD hatch. Maybe I'll get a used FRS or BRZ in a few years .
