Personally, I think they're all afraid that you'll say "no tune for you" - you're like the soup nazi in the tuner world.

Grow up man...we are all busy. If any of us treated our customers the way you did in the real world, we'd either be fired or lose customers. Keep it up. Pretty soon all your potential customers will go to Perrin or FA20.
Take this however you wish -

I've never claimed to be the busiest person or vendor in the world or on this forum. But I am busy and I'm pushing updates as fast as I can.

But BITCHING about shit to me doesn't speed anything up.

Like I said you don't know the half of it, so don't come in here and tell me how to manage what I'm managing.

I'm not going to sugar coat or suck up to anyone, I don't expect you do to that to me either.

Like I said, I'm not going to be anyone's beating block, if you dont like it - move on. I'm sorry if I'm the only vendor here that has the balls to tell you how it is, but clearly I am.

I rather be know for being that 'rude' vendor then the vendor that shows no gains, offers free tunes and begs for data logs.

John, instead of replying to every bit of criticism or constructive advice, whether aimed at you personally or as a general comment (as my original one was), which as you say wastes your time, surely it would be better if you just type a quick post to let us know how far behind you are then we know not to bug you. We know you are busy, we don't want to piss you off but we also don't want to be left in the dark either and I feel as paying customers that is perfectly understandable. Just my opinion but I think it is a possible way to improve things a little for us all, yourself included.

E.g - now up to ticket no ....

or

Expect updates to take approx 2 weeks

Something quick and simple could really help.

Amen.

The word busy for you is a complete understatement. Been following this thread since the GB. Patience is a virtue and you'll have my business after the holidays.

Couldn't you hire a hot little assistant or community manager type thing for that? I'm sure you made back your 6k for the tuning software a long time ago.

I was looking at you to tune my car remotely but going by how overworked you are from all these generic tunes I was worried how responsive you would be for my stage 1 and 2 turbo builds.

Hmm indeed.

Real tip though, if you can trust them, offer some business college student an unpaid internship. I know back when I was in school I would have done anything to get my foot in the door.

I'm out in a FRS today working on some new mapping and playing with the traction control stuff...

Does anyone actually use and like Autoblip?

I'm thinking about ditching it and have two maps with traction control..

One traction control settings that's semi sensitive and one that's not.

I'm also working on my Flex Fuel Kit.

I might post some pictures of it.. depends on how far I get.

Autoblip is totally unneccesary to me IMO. I don't want this car driving me. I want to drive it and do my own downshift rev match or heel-toe.

2 maps with traction control allowing me more freedom IMO is what this car needs and is designed to do.

No, I need to play with a e85 car in person.

I'm hoping to have my flex fuel kit on a car next week, once it's installed ill be remapping everything for e85.
