No idea sorry.

Have a google for Toyota north shore here in NZ and contact them. They will gladly ship to Oz and have good pricing for forum members. They are the TRD part importers for New Zealand and supply the NZ Toyota dealers.

That's very true. I might even have a go at doing my own oil change at 1,600km given the great DIY articles on this forum!

Last time I tried was on a 1982 Holden Gemini I spilt oil all over my Dad's pristine garage floor - I don't think he's ever forgiven me...

I am pretty sure that I can source an unpainted one from Japan, but, it never hurts to shop around. Fortunately, I have the advantage of time right now since we are currently planning a trip to Disney World and my would be car budget is being reallocated to that. It was the promise that I made to my wife. I can get an FR-S if I take the family to Disney World. It has slowed the my purchases for the car to a crawl, but, the bottom line is that I have been loving my car since day one.

Personally I'm not a tuner or mod person. I don't have a mechanical bone in my body so I just wanted a really beautiful looking and unique car to drive and that's what I think I now have. And, I got it fast!

If you like tinkering with cars and modding then this quick TRD transformation wouldn't be for you.

Each to their own eh
It's funny you say that, because up until now, every car I have bought has been stock and never touched except consumables like tires and brakes. Granted they may have been higher trim levels, but, otherwise untouched.

I get this car and have been adding small inexpensive mods since day one (tint, shark fin, exhaust tips, LED lights).

Bigger mods are currently on hold, but, I can't get over the irresistible urge to mod the car. And the funny part is that I am just like you in that I am the furthest thing from being mechanically inclined.

How do the TRD coilovers ride compared to the stock ones. I was thinking about getting them.

Are they much stiffer over the stock ones, how would they be for daily driving?

Other than a bit firmer ride and a bit more road noise (prob lower profile tyres) I really haven't noticed much difference.

Mine is my daily drive - I drive 51km on my round trip to work and home each day and I certainly don't have issues with the ride. I did have a Nissan S15 for the 12 years before trading in for the 86 so have been used to a firm ride.

Tried to install the rally armor mudflaps today but with the TRD kit on the brackets mean they stick out in a funny way. I could get a different bracket made but have decided not to bother.

Damn!
