The dyno I posted was just the reflash, no other mods.

That is intake, header, exhaust, k-pro. With intake manifold and cams you can make around 250-270whp.

But how much does all of that add up to? That is not cheap performance.

Total cost at the end of the day is around $1500-2000. Some prefer N/A power to boosted, it just comes down to preference. If all you care about is getting the absolute most power for your money, then boost is the only way.

Nope, not yet. 200PS is what I keep estimating though. Subaru doesn't use BHP they use PS which is a slightly different standard of measuring HP. It's only 2% less BHP but to me it matters.

Correct.

I would imagine closer to 160ft-lbs. It's going to have high compression and direct injection.

For "intake, header, exhaust, k-pro." ?

but they are measured in different ways so there is a real chance that they could be different if someone chooses to split hairs

As long as it hits 200hp I'll be happy. Anything above that is just extra nice.

For my car, spent $500 header $400 intake $250 exhaust + $550 for Flashpro for a total of $1700.

Yea the k-pro is only $995, the intake is about $180, header is around $450-$600, exhaust depends what you want.

yeah, close enough... British always say bhp, which always seems to be the same.

bhp = hp at the crank, and hp = hp at the output of the gearbox?...

engine outputs are usually measured at the flywheel where brake hp is measured while the engine is in the car on a dyno. they figure out the whp and then they find out how much braking power the car generates off throttle and that is how much drivetrain losses the particular car gives up. they add the two for bhp. they should be the same but im sure some power is lost in heat and some other forms that isnt quite sent to the wheels.
