@AVOturboworld
Somewhat off topic, but do you know of any way of getting the Vehicle specific PID's from EcuTek? |

I will be putting the turbo on myself. Seems easy enough for me to do...i hope. haha. No experience with that, but i have worked on cars and motorcycles most my life, and have most recently rebuilt the top half of my engine in my grand am GT. Just never really worked on supercharger/turbo. Real comfortable working on cars and stuff, just trying to learn more about the turbo stuff. I really want to get this tuned and on the track. I previously had a C6 vette, but that was just too much to take on a track, and i have experience from racing motorcycles on the track, but getting older and feel safer in a car. |

With this bolt on kit, assuming the car weighs 2750 and makes 250 wheel, you can dip into the 12's ( aka be just as fast as stock 5.0 mustangs and new camaro SS's ) which is awesome because they make over 100 wheel more haha

All this talk about 1/4 ET's is making me excited.. Are we really looking at high 12's / low 13's?

![]() With a good driver I wouldn't be surprised if people pull 13.1-13-3's on a regular basis. You might need a serious driver mod and sticky tires to hit high 12's. Dynosty hit 11.1 @ 128 with 409rwhp. Just for reference. |

This may be a stupid question but if the turbo is under the car is there any chance os water from rain getting into the system?

Don't forget the slicks and skinnys too, low 13's sound reasonable.

you helped me once already hopefully you could help again (or anyone) if this had 250 whp and you add a headerback system what feasable gains would you get? 10 to 15 extra whp?

They then managed 280ish rwhp with 6.5psi and a full(200 cell catted) 2.5" turbo back exhaust. I think that the stage 1 kit, with a high flow airbox(in production) and a full headerback exhaust while still at 5 psi will net you around 250-265rwhp. To directly answer your question, if you had this car at 250rwhp with stock exhaust, upgrading to a full 2.5" TBE with no cats would probably net you around 20rwhp. |
