Interesting about the traction control, I would have never guessed a learn mode on that. By the way I actually tried the DTC erase just now and it is actually in the lower right of my screen and has an eraser on the icon.

That makes more sense, I have never had tint in any of my cars. Living in Oregon I want as much sun as I can get all of the time. I even have one of the SAD lights on my desk to keep me happy until the sun comes back. I grew up in S. Cal.

Miami sounds really nice right now, it will sound even nicer in February...

FYI - I set mine to Lightest 2 (the right one) and I wish that when it was overcast, that the lights would come on. I might have to try the Dark 2 mode this weekend.

So did it work? On light 2 the lights came on earlier?

In any mode except for normal, it takes 14 seconds by my count. Yes it is earlier, but not enough! And it has to be fairly dark for it to work. I want it to come on when it is pretty overcast outside.

Wow! 14 seconds, that's nothing. I hoped light 2 would mean they would come up a good amount of time earlier.

I cracked the nut on the customization settings for the BRZ. If you program in Light2, then when it is overcast outside, the lights will come on. With Normal or Dark1 or Dark2 it does not. With Light2 I was happy that it did. Also, in any configuration setting, other than Normal, it takes about 14 seconds for lights to come on (with a major change in brightness reducation - i.e. going into your garage). Otherwise, it takes longer. Finally pleased to figure out Light2 is the more insensate 40% setting.

Is there a way to activate the beep when locking and unlocking the doors using this software? I have the smart key with push button start on my euro/jdm spec 86. No acoustic confirmation when locking/unlocking, just visual (hazard lights flash). My key fob does not have the panic button so I don't think I have the alarm, but I think the siren/speaker is there since it beeps whenever the key fob leaves the interior of the car with the engine running.

Yes, you can activate it and turn the volume up or down up to level 7
