One thing I'm investigating with my GTS is the addition of RCA inputs to the stock eclipse/Fujitsu Ten HU. I suspect that low level outputs might be available on the headunit, with the plug just not populated with cables. So adding them would be similar to adding an RCA plug for the reverse camera or Aux inputs.

First thing though is figuring out where to mount the switch to enable full function input on the head unit while in motion for phonebook/dialpad etc. That's my current biggest gripe

Bought 2 separate opposite M/F OEM connectors - repco, other off ebay. Basically ran all my cabling without even having to cut into the oem harness. Can easily pull out the headunit and connect back to stock set up. A bit of a fuss to do, but I guess I like clip plugs and soldering, wires.
I am interested in doing the same thing. What parts did you get? What do I look for? Not too sure what to ask for from repco.

Well you need the male and female ends.

And

Then other blank plugs from jaycar to make all the cabling work. Does get a bit confusing though. Trying to dig out some of the pics.

PM me if you want a bit more detail, happy to help out.

A photo would be awesome. I am glad you posed this before I started messing with my wiring.

The guy there (Marty) was great to talk to. He know's his sh*t, and is a straight shooter. His passion for it, pretty much inspired me to get off my a$$ and do it myself like I wanted to but was putting it off. @fuddbutter can vouch for this guy. I would def recommend people go there.

Sure can recommend him!

I have know Marty for years, we both used to be judges for MEASQ (CAASQ)
Can highly recommend his work, and his knowledge!

You'll have less then 2" of clearance under the seat, less if you want the seat to still move.
