arguments a side, I was seriously considering importing a Aussie RAV4 V6 to the UK. We aren't lucky enough to get em with that engine. Well, it was that or the Aurion (sp?) TRD edition... well that or the Blade Master G from Japan. Auris/Corolla Hatch with a V6...

But that takes it completely off topic. Just saying, the UK (and Europe) thanks to strict Emissions and high duty (tax) on Fuel, we tend to get the baby Toyota's or the Grownup Toyota's with a small engine.

That's what I heard anyway. If it was true (maybe it is?) I'm not sure how the German's and Jaguar get around the issue of cars with big engines.

Well, no one I know from the UK, which is quite a few people as you can imagine, calls them bangers. So stop being racist and propagating Stereotypes you damn aussie criminal and fat yank!
From the way people always say "fat yanks" when I traveled to Europe I expected to see much healthier people, but I saw pretty much the exact same thing as what I see in USA. Fat, lazy people are in every country and I don't think it is exclusive to just the USA.

What Marrk said! Apologies if the humour didn't translate well across the pond Ryude. I tried to word it in the most obvious way I could

It's not you. It's the Internet. Sarcasm is the first casualty of cyber discourse. Unless you cover everthing with emoticons (Is that what they're called?), people think everything you say is, like, a death threat.

This is why I don't speak up as often as I'd like to. I'd rather not burn bridges because the sarcasm wasn't dripping from it.

That's one factor that tends to silence people. The other is the bullying that goes on by people who post 500 times a day and are self-appointed experts on everything, when, in fact, the only thing that they are expert on is forum bullying. Eventually, the good people get fed up or bored, and they leave. We've all seen it a thousand times.

No worries, won't be allowed to happen here unchecked. Bullies will be dispensed of. If someone can't post and discuss topics with others in a mature and respectful manner, then they shouldn't bother posting.

So I encourage people to report bullying posts.
