gourgeous pics! i wish i had my car.....

I got an update on my CEL issue and more tests are apparently needed bfore toyota is willing to ship parts to fix the issue and was told by my service advisor that it was actually recomended by toyota technical that the car be given back to me to just see if i would have another code CEL code thrown. hoping this get fixed soon as i miss this car! just fustrated with toyota that all though there is an obvious issue coperate insists on performing the same test yet again to come to the same conclusion.

It's currently at Toyota of Boerne and they're taking good care of me.

I'd be more scared to drive with the light on than getting it fixed. If there is a real mechanical issue.

Do you know what codes your throwing? Did your traction slip light come on too?

The slip light came on also but turned off shortly afterward. How do you know what code is showing up. Like I said so far the car is acting completely normal. I will be taking it in tomorrow hopefully...

And the transponder in the key go haywire

When I had the codes pulled I was told the car is good to drive after the CEL went away and everything reset itself before heading to the dealer after letting it sit. Hoping it really isn't something major... Been running smoothly for the past hour

I had the dealer pull the codes on tech stream and wipe them to see if I threw them again before i could get back to Boerne since I know the guys who work on my car and am nothing but pleased with them. But the codes above are what I pulled both times in both Boerne and San Marcos's dealers

Btw, to make ya'll drool a bit; e85 testing has shown an increase of 20 whp so far!

And speed density tuning is in beta as of today. If I can get Napoleon to leave his track car with me a few days more ill have results from the SD files to share

I was told I have it and we even thought hell maybe I just needed a reflash. But it looks like a new ECU and the cam assembly

Once the car is problem free I may have to look into that e85 tune

How are you compensating for air density changes caused by the air temperature? I know normally that isn't factored into a MAP based system, but it is for MAF.

Is there some sort of compensation map that is plotted to take care of that?

There are new VE tables for the SD as well as some compensation features. You can also run in a hybrid set up with SD and MAF if you really dont wanna change the MAF to larger. We can also easily scale for the bigger housings if you like

Has anyone had issues with the Tire Pressure Indicator Light after swapping rims? Mine lit up after an Enkei RFP1 install with factory valves and tires. The TMPS light wouldn't go off after the install so I took it up to Universal Toyota. I waited there 3 hrs to hear they need to order new sensors. Warrantied luckily. I'm 4 days into the wait for the parts to arrive...
