I also use Meguiar's Hot shine, which costs about $6 around here. I'm no professional detailer and it only lasts me 2-3 weeks, but it's so cheap that I have no issue reapplying it every few weeks. Looks great and shiny. Smells terrible though and i always use wear latex gloves when applying it.

I use Garry Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice (Detailer in Tampa, FL with his own chemist). I wash both the exterior, interior and shine the tires with it. It gives it a deep, matte black look. No shiny, greasy look.

well, its been 2 days and my tires are still glossy black. I've gone through numerous puddles and a decent rain. Beating most applications

It is very important to wash car before shine the tires. Otherwise it looks odd to have shiny tires on a dirty car. I Scrub tires to remove dirt and mud. After Spraying the tire with the tire shine, I use a cloth to spread the tire shine evenly over the tire walls.

To the professional detailers on here, what about Westley's Bleche-White? I used it on my truck to remove dirt and mud stains and I plan to use it on my car simply because I live on a gravel road and ANY product that has moisture just attracts dust. Is this stuff good/bad for the tire/am I stupid/uninformed?

For those that that like a new or matt finish it's great stuff. I have used it for years. If I'm not mistaken it it owned by another company and is not as strong as it was years ago.

I hear 303 makes things slippery. Is that safe to use on tires still?

Adams that stuff lasts forever leaves a matte finish doesn't sling shit all up the paint on top of that you use almost nothing to hit all four tires and trim

I just spray some meguires ultimate interior shine on a sponge and make one pass around. It does not sling or collect dirt.takes a couple extra minutes but its worth it IMO. Especially on opti coated cars.

Wesleys Bleche-white is for cleaning whitewalls and that shit works! It cleans the rest of the tire too, but kicks ass on whitewalls, but who is running whitewalls?

I use a foam applicator and spray the tire shine on the applicator to apply to the tire, so there's no overspray and no mess. Nothing on the paint, nothing on the tire tread or the wheels. I do it maybe once a month; my tires stay looking clean otherwise.

How many of you have heard about Tuf Shine? This is tire coating that doesn't wear off. I made the video to answer some questions that people had for a blog, hence the shamless plug for that blog.

Cheers,
GREG

Here is a video I made on the stuff.

I use the Dupli-Color tire dressing now, on all my cars. I used to use Zaino tire shine, but it didn't last very long and always turned brown before it went away (common with silicone based dressings I guess). The Duplicolor stuff lasts for WEEKS without turning brown, just don't get it on the wheels!! I use a cardboard cutout to cover the rim, if the stuff gets on it leaves a yellow residue and needs rubbing alcohol to remove it.
