Only have 100 miles on the car and wondering if those with more miles have noticed any less "harshness" with time??

No flames please...like "you should have gotten a minivan instead" !
Try 35 or 34 front and 33 rear psi
Try a better tire

Thats what I may do.

I just came back from a trip up to Long Island. Driving on the Belt Parkway felt like I was driving only on the rims....the road is in such poor shape the ride was way too harsh to enjoy the drive.

I'm thinking of seeing how the BRZ feels at 33 psi. Wouldn't want to go much lower since the recomended psi is 35.

Anyone running pressure less than 35?

Yes , I know I have a sports car, but great handling should not mean you have to have a harsh ride. Should it???

You get used to it... at least I did. When I drive my softer cars the BRZ seems harsher again for a day or so.

They have it dialed in perfectly. I know the suspension isn't too harsh because none of the girls I take out complain about it.

Come to Nebraska where all highways are cement and you bounce every 20 ft because of the purposeful breaks in the road. Trust me, I know Jersey roads are bad but as people said, its something you will get used to. Rough riding in a Sports Car is expected. You could grab 495/95 around DC and drive your heart out on 10 lane highway if you want, but I am sure that is way too far out of the way.

Not really...we make freq trips from NJ to Myrtle Beach and the BRZ will be my vacation car, so we'll be on 495/95 around DC soon.

I check my tire pressure this am and it was too high at 39. Going to lower to 34 and see how that effects the ride.

Done some reading and with low profile tires the suggestion is to run the pressures from 32 to 40. But since the BRZ is only ~2700 lbs, I suspect anywhere from 32 to the suggested pressure of 35 should be fine.

Any tire pressure experts on this forum to confirm this??

The BRZ was actually an improvement over my Genesis Coupe (track model). That thing literally smashed over every lump and bump in the road. It felt like I was going to break something (aside from my back and neck).

As others have said, try even lowering the tire pressure by 1-2 psi and you will probably see a difference. That said, you are never going to have a plush ride in these cars, they were not built for that.

I agree and not looking or expect a plush ride (have my I30 for that).

I've reduced to 34 and went out for a ride to get gas..much better!

You could always go get some Tein H-Tech springs. They don't lower the car that much (.6 F / .9 Rear) but they soften it up a hair.
