Here is my review of the BFG T/A KDW2: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15069

Tires are the only thing that touches the road, and one of the most important to not skimp on.
Based on lots of great feedback, irrespective of cost, I can say that all my customers have loved their Dunlop Star Spec Z1, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Mixed things about the Hankook RS2, but they do have a high grip level for low cost.

If I were the OP I'd cruise the Prius tires for a while and make the decision if I really wanted something stickier. Go find a canyon, mountain, any road with some twists - and really push it before making a decision.
oh man, i have pushed these in some good canyons around my area - and i can tell you they do perform pretty good. like everyone else here I am second guessing my decision to buy star-specs... I dont track it and wont more than a few times just for giggles - but drives out to the mtns the stocks do feel real good. ive got it almost sideways and i can say there is alot of predictable control in these oems. I wish they had a nice aggressive thread but i guess thats the idea of OEM.
Today, i decided to buy some different rims with the 600 i was going to spend on tires .... probably better choice for me at least.
