I believe you are setting the right priorities (although I am personally looking for a high-end solution /w a ball-bearing turbo and an electronic boost controller).

Builds like this are actually relatively easy for us to arrange for. It's just that it's technically custom, so it's not sitting on the shelf, and thus may take a bit longer to deliver. Plus tuning at the end will need to be customized to that level of hardware, as well as any supporting modifications.

Wondering if you guys will eventually offer a "tuner" kit options in case people wish to go with a system like Hydra or anything?
While I know you guys have put in a lot of time on this tune, I figured I'd ask as I know some will want to up the boost and do personal/custom setups with the kit, just a thought

This kit pretty much is a tuner kit, a tuner kit does not provide tuning or fuel. The only thing this kit does in regards to those things is provide a daily driver tune so the car is operational. Other kits are more expensive because they also provide injectors and a fuel pump, which is another 750 or so dollars tached on.

May have missed this, but does any aftermarket Cold Air Kit bolt up to this? For example if I buy an injen CAI and then install the AVO kit, will it bolt right up?

Not without modification.

Intake kits run from the throttle body to the snorkel in the bumper. Any new intake will need to run from the turbo - not the throttle body.

You'd be better off with an AIRAID or AFE intake since they come close to the stock location, piping-wise. I'd go with an AFE over an AIRAID because they flow a bit more and suck in colder air.

Injen's are SRI's and suck air from the engine bay.

I was just talking about the box, not the piping. But yeah I like the Injen looks the most and apparently it does work very well. This is just based off testing ive seen.

I'd want colder air for any kind of forced induction.

I haven't seen any credible testing showing driving conditions. I know the AIRAID unit sucks in considerably warmer air, and the Injen is even further back in the engine bay. But if you like the looks, then it's whatever. However, that's a lot of money to pay for a filter and filter house. Food for thought.

Well hopefully AVO will chime in on the compatibility of aftermarket boxes for the kit, i'll probably just go with whatever one has the best gains.

Any air box that has one connection where the stock airbox ends, and the pipe run begins, will work with the AVO kit. A tune will be required to account for the new airflow and get maximum gains.

The only kit that will be compatible of the bat is the ARC Aluminium Super Induction Box (about double the price of other kits) as it hooks up to the stock piping and includes a spot for the MAF sensor

Other kits like afe or injen relocate the MAF sensor on there kits piping, which you wont be using with the AVO turbo kit. Therefore a mod to the AVO pipe or an intermediate piping between to locate the MAF sensor wud be needed.
