4 times now. First time in my county for speeding, was greatly reduced, cop liked my car and did me a huge favor. Twice in Toronto for no front plate in two weeks. Then again in my county again for speeding, again cop was asking details about the car and let me off with warning. So that's pulled over twice, through 2 or 3 ride programs, plus I live 1Km from a cop station, drive by multiple cops EVERY day, and not once has any local cop acknowledged or cared that I was running no front plate. Started school in Toronto, boom, twice pulled over for no plate, on busy streets to boot, holding up traffic, in rush hour lol. Ended up putting the plate on so I stop getting hassled in T.O. It sure is ugly looking.

None so far in my FR-S. I've been pulled over once - in my (sadly departed) 1993 Camry, for doing 40 in a 25 zone while on my learner's permit. He let me off with a warning. That was the only time (knock on wood).
I find I drive quite a bit slower now. Compared to my old car, the FR-S is the stereotypical ticket magnet, so I have to be more careful. |

Once, i took a highway exit turn pretty fast and was pulled over instantly. Cop came up to my window asked me where i just came from, where i was going (told him canyons) and gave me a sobriety test. He then asked me to watch my speed and let me go. When they walked away i heard one say to his partner "Told you it was a Scion" and the other guy said "damn that's a nice Scion." I yelled thanks and took off.

I've had 0 with the FRS. But with my '94 Corolla, I got pulled over going 100+ on a 55 a day after getting my license and was let go with a warning.
I had about 3 out of 7 tickets. Rest warnings for almost hitting a cop, who was walking, and for running expired tags for 4 months by using the "it was 4th of July holiday weekend" excuse at mid November. |

This is probably a bad pattern but I've only ever been pulled over while driving other peoples cars (with them riding shotgun). Both times for expired tags so...not my fault.
Actually I just realize the first time my friend was teaching me to drive stick, the second time I was driving because the car owner couldn't drive his own car (a manual).
