How many times have you been pulled over?

Out of curiosity, how many times have you been pulled over and for what reason since you got the car?

Evading the law does not count.

So far 0 in the BRZ. I used to get pulled over in my WRX all the time so it's a nice change.

When I had my 3rd gen RX7 I knew the cops on a first name basis. Since then I've had a full size truck and have learned to conserve. Not saying I don't speed but it seems my mission right now is to average 30MPG. Right now I'm up to 29.3. Must be getting old. :)

Only once did a guy stop along side of me at a light and ask me what it was. His parting comment was "I sure love that car". I have had an unusual number of lookie loos.

Pulled over once, nothing really came out of it. He walked around the car, ran my info, and let me go.

Was doing ~40 in a 35 so I deserved to get pulled over.

Haven't been pulled over yet in the FR-S. But I did have a cop stare at me for a short distance a couple weeks ago. I think he did a double take first, just a glance, saw the car, stared at it to see if I'd do anything wrong, and then he was gone.

Eh. 40 in a 35?

Cop was being a you-know-what. Lol.

They don't usually pull you over here where I live unless you're driving like a maniac at least 10MPH over.

Haven't been pulled over myself *knock on wood*, but like someone else in this thread, my driver before this was a Tundra. Kinda used to setting crusie for 3 above the limit and just waiting until I get to my destination.

Maybe 20 times. I'm 24. 0 in the FR-S.

He might have just been admiring your car! Cops are humans too.

Always possible. Either way it's nice to catch someone staring. Caught a 350z driver staring the other day. XD I'm just thinking "No whammy's" when it comes to cops and tickets.

Got pulled over for the first time in my FR-S this morning...didn't even realize I was speeding. It's been over a year since I have gotten a ticket.

Apparently this AM I was going 74 in a 40 trying to get to work. (I was passing someone, they caught me at a bad time.)

Tt3Sheppard 11-20-2012 03:15 PM

I tend to stay away from the towns with **** cops but so far not pulled over yet with the FR-S

MVJ1975 11-20-2012 03:23 PM

I've never gotten a traffic citation ever.

sf86 11-20-2012 03:27 PM

First time i got pulled over and it was on my FRS. the reason was i didn't have my front license plate. I didn't get any ticket since my car was new and i just received the license plate on the day i got pulled over? I told the officer i didn't have the tool to install the front license plate. :) He smiled and told me to get it installed otherwise some other officers will stop me again for the front plate.
