Doesn't Toyota know there isn't enough room under the hood of the car for FI? The internets said so!

But anyway, I agree with you in your concern for gas mileage. Adding a supercharger probably wouldn't do it for me for various reasons. The only thing I'd likely consider is the KERS they're working on. BTW, is this supercharger being built by the American division? I wonder if it'll even be checked over by the Subaru engine engineers.

So speaking of SEMA there was a point when they opened the hood of the car. Yup big empty space there as the S/C is still being developed.
Forgot who they were working with but it's the same company that is currently doing all of the TRD supercharges. |

TRD has to comply with EPA regs (50 state legal kits), long term warranties, driveabilty and low maintenance. There is a hell of alot more R&D that goes into a TRD supercharger then some thrown together turbo kit sold on here. |

Your basis is on importing a bbk from Japan as there isn't currently US pricing. Now, that being said I believe that the sc will be in the 4-5k range.

If Toyota/Scion can fix the first generation bugs and put a "Supercharger/Turbo" in a FRS/86. I would buy one. I am willing to spend the extra $$$ for the vehicle, but I will take it out and put an aftermarket after my warranty expires.

We don't even have an official optional big brake kit in the US.

Im sure the TRD kit will be a nice kit with warranty! Most of the superchargers coming out are around like 200-230whp.
