Most Harbor Freight stuff is junk. I've had this jack for about a year. It's been used and abused and hasn't failed yet! Even if it does, it was only $60 lol

I am definitely thinking about going out and buying it, just want to be sure I can do my oil changes and things with it (all ready have jack stands...bought those when they were on sale a few weeks ago from Sears.)
It can. I have this jack and it reaches no problem

I used the same jack and no problem using the front jack point either.

it's gonna be the same thing for every cheap parts, or cars for that matter(Hyundai for example). you get what you pay for, but if you don't use it 15 times per day 5 days a week of course it won't last as long as a 300$ jack. my 20$ canadian tire 2 ton jack is 9 years old and still going strong.

for that jack 60$ is a joke, get it if you can.

I use a low profile harbor freight jack as a main jack in the shop. it gets used almost every day multiple times a day. Most every car we have in our shop is too low even for race jacks. the steel one was 89.99 and it seems lower, longer, and sturdier then the aluminum jacks. i also use the jack to move cars around and swing the rears around quite a bit when moving cars with welded diffs. I came from a 400$ tool truck jack and i am very happy with it. I also have a aluminum 2 ton HB jack, but it rarely gets used unless we are going on the road to a track event.

It needs 3.3 inches of vertical clearance, so unless you're slammed, it should be fine. If so, drive up on to some wood planks first.

By the way, I just measured it today - with stock suspension height, this jack has about an inch and a half of clearance from the front. Plenty of room in the back, obviously.
