I agree that you should wait longer and see how things shake out. A lot of products may not last in the market.

Nameless catted down/up/mid/center (whatever the crap it is being called these days) pipe with resonator and axle back . Sounds aggressive when WOT, quiet when idle or cruising. Combined with UNIChip tune and aFe Takeda Intake the sounds are VERY aggressive at WOT and still quiet-ish while cruising and just as quiet at idle. (BTW the subie burble sound is much more noticeable at WOT with a tune)...

correct...i had three sti owners (two heavily built and NICE) and a BRZ/ built LGT owner doing WOT runs past the group last night and they all commented on how nice it sounded inside and out but four of us were completely surprised when the guy driving it came back from a completely different direction and got to within four car lengths of us before we noticed him...so i would say (disappointingly BTW) that it is pretty quiet when not gunning hard. On a side note all of the drivers last night got out of the car with ear to ear smiles and the desire to get one...

I like Perrins and Nameless. Avoid Agency Power and Vivid Racing at all costs. They are charging almost what Perrin is charging for made in China parts. At least Perrin you know your getting it Made in USA, good fitment, and gains.
Agency Power and Vivid both have had a bad history, Nasoic forums have a 60 page thread with almost more then half of it with people saying what a bad company they are in the reviews section of the forums. Every Subaru forum they have been banned as vendor for bad practices. Also there exhausts are known for having bad fitment and someone did a dyno recently and it did not even come close to what they showed in their dynos. Which is obvious that they inflated their numbers just to make some sales. The customer did a dyno and it only showed a little gain towards the end. They claimed over 10 or 12 WHP, and their dyno had gains across the whole curve, band, dyno whatever you want to call it. They vendor claims they make every exhaust in house. But on their site it even says they have it made in China. They are liars and should be avoided, surprised they havent even been banned on these forums yet. You dont see ANY vendor act/post like them on these forums. When they get called out for something they mysteriously disappear and have someone else assigned to post as the vendor on these forums. I believe they changed posters like 3-4 times already. I have not seen any other vendor argue with anyone in this community, except for them, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They lie and have no respect for the Subaru community including this one. You would be better off getting a Cat back from Megan then them. At least they dont lie and charge what the more respected companies who actually do R&D charge. Support the vendors on this forum that do the proper R&D and have real gains. Not a company with 10 + years of bad history in the car scene that has been banned on almost every forum they are vendors at. Anyone who would like to see that NASOIC thread with all the horror stories in it just send me a PM and I will link you. CLIFFS: -Get a Perrin or Nameless -AP/Vivid are liars/scumbags. -Inflated Numbers -No respect for the Subaru community. 60 page thread on another forum with more then half of it is bad reviews/horror stories. |

Honestly why make a big deal out of it. PM is much better because it isn't going to spam up this guys thread. I know he probably could have searched or whatever but this seemed valid enough; it's not time to thread derail.

There will be plenty more systems on the market eventually. One system I'm super excited for is Stromung, who anyone with a Subie should instantly recognize. The shop I work with is getting one specially ordered for me, but there are plans for them to put the system into production.
Be wary of Perrin's system if your car is an AT as resonance/vibration issues may occur.
