Just dont want any problems!
Ok im trying to settle on an exhaust and at this point the only two things i really care about are sound first off and NO PROBLEMS. I keep switching in my mind because i keep hearing of fitment issues or rattles and so on with ones im choosing from. Every time i think i know what i want i read a few posts about somthing not fitting or rattling. If i found an exhaust that met the criteria listed above id buy it no matter what the price really. In my mind you pay for quality. Not trying to ramble just seeing your guys opinions are that already have aftermarket exhausts.

I'm thinking: 4" burnished tips and 1/4" drill the stock can for sound.
|
i went w/ perrin and have had zero issues. but honestly, if youre worried then simply wait a few months. a butt load of companies are releasing new exhaust systems soon and then you'll have many options to choose from as well as user reviews to get the right one for you

agency power catback no problems here!
|
I went with ARK performance and so far no issues. Love the sound

When you're not sure what to do the best thing to do is nothing. Wait until you've had time to learn more and gather more experience before trying to make your mind up. That's probably the best way to prevent making a mistake.

I keep telling myself to wait a few months problem is i want it now! i think i really need to hear some in person ive only been going off of youtube video's and that i dont think is doing justice.

Srt and no issues with a really nice sound.
|
one thing i do love about perrin is how they stand by there product lifetime warrenty kicks ass...ill prolly get the flamed for asking but is that common? My buddy had a greddy on his civic and that thing was the biggest piece of crap rusted out in the ohio winters.

Do a perrin non-resonated. There will be plenty of room, very good quality and everyone that has one loves the sound. I wen't resonated only because I'm adding headers/overpipe/midpipe and was concerned about total volume based on all of this.

Loving my nameless setup and ive had it since august now. Never had a problem!
Perrin and ARK are also top notch from what ive seen |
problem is im wanting to do a header and overpipe get the best quality of sound. I know bikes are different then cars but i put a slip on exhaust on my bike then changed to a full and wow was the difference awesome.

With the perrin resonated, you just have to watch one spot where the resonator is closer to the body of the car. I have a midpipe and resonated and no issues after a very, very minor mod to the midpipe's mount (just enlongated the bolt mount hole). When it was touching it was minor but I wanted perfect. It was a non issue before the midpipe (on stock it was fine) so I don't think it was Perrin's issue other than the resonator is quite large.
