Congratz! I also miss the heated seats from my MKVI GTi lol but ill never get used to the sitting postion and shifter feel in the GTi after owning this car.

I'm at 500 miles and I have another 500 miles before I can full comment on this question. I love the GTI's power band, and it was almost fully stock. I had lightweight enkei wheels with Dunlop Star Specs(great but LOUD tires) and I kept track brake pads on for my daily driving. The stock brake pads STINK in VW. In emergency situations, I always felt like the pads would slip and slide, but with the upgraded pads I never had any worries. It did eat away at the rotors very quickly, but thats why I sold the car

When you sit in heated leather seats for the first time and its 30*F out with extreme wind, the distance from the driveway to the front door seems like a mile. First time I sat in heated seats in the winter, I sat in my car for 30 minutes in the driveway until the wife called me to ask what I was doing in the car all this time.

I own a MK6 GTI and test drove an FRS and I almost fell asleep power wise, it felt slow as hell. because It was a test drive with a salesman I couldn't do real spirited testing so I can't tell you how good it is but I trust the tons of reviews about that.

I can't live without usable torque so I'm waiting for the right FI kit for me to purchase an FRS.

Again, I felt disappointed with the lack of tech in the cabin, but the car feels good overall. It has a rattle in the trunk which I will look at soon enough, but it feels good. I do not regret the purchase. I miss my gauge cluster screen, but it works. I never read the speed odometer, I just use the RPM tack and digital speed gauge.

I've never felt the need for seat warmers. Well maybe once or twice in a year it would be nice. If anything I rather have seat coolers

I had heated seats on my Acura RSX. Makes sense if you have leather, but honestly, heated seats with cloth - really? Someone asked me if my Corolla trade in had it. I asked them "why would it? It has cloth seats". Next thing everyone is going to start asking for heated stearing wheels and cooled seats. I have driven cars with these features. Just another thing to fix down the road when it stops working. First time I had heated seats, it felt like took a leak in my pants. Cooled seats are just weird with air blowing up into your bum. No thanks.

UPDATE: While I was typing, it happened. omg! I was kidding! The FR-S is less than $30k for a reason. A used Lexus IS250 or IS350 might be the car for you if you want a car to pamper you.

I got my Gti for $21,750 otd and it had cloth seats compariable to the brz's cloth seats, heated seats, sunroof, touch screen head unit. It's a nice feature. I can live with out it but it would have been nice to have come built in.

It feels like my gf old rx8 and s2000 made love and Out came the gt86 lol. Revy engine with tight stock bucket seats. Shifters are positioned almost identical. Oh and it doesn't have a topless mode. Both cars are great.

Lol okay one tank full and the drive home from my gf house. LOL
