does it come with an intake or do does it work with aftermarket intake or does it use the factory intake?

also can you still use the cusco strut bar or does the supercharger get in the way?

It seems like only Australian performance companies have the right idea about building kits. they are conservative and use as many factory components to keep costs down.
Both IM and AVO have the righ idea.

what if you put on an aftermarket and threw your factory intake away?

I'm sure somebody would sell you their factory intake cheap but in the future i wouldn't throw away your take off parts.

If aftermarket intakes are meant to mount to everything else stock and this turbo kit is made to mount to a stock intake, then obviously yes.

Not really. If the aftermarket intake replaces the air box and doesn't have an airbox or filter that shares the stock airbox connection location then it wont work. Yes all intakes connect to the throttlebody but they all haver their own routing and piping that does not follow the stock airbox config.

Thats kind of true, to some extent the resources to make complicated new parts are more expensive or even not possible in Aus so its make the best of what you got. The kits still come out awesome tho

Long term testing is what ill be interested in with this SC set-up.

Bullet is definitely innovative to say the least and have the only Road registered and approved Australia wide V8 MX5.

I can be wrong and hopefully will be but 2 other systems that used a Laminova inter cooler over the engine built in the inlet plenum suffered from heat soak, the Stillen Vortech 370Z and the Speed of science NSX.
Rotrexsperchargers of UK have a really dear but wonderfully engineered setup but changed from the laminova to a plate and frame once they saw heat soak being an issue.

Maybe the Sprintex doesn't heat the air as much or the psi is purposely kept low so as not to have the issue

Heat Soak is a product of insufficent surface area on a heat exchanger..

IF you cannot remove enough heat the unit is undersized, or the SC is producing too much heat.

There have been hundreds of SC's/Turbo chargers that use Air/Liquid coolers, and don't have problems with Heat Soak.

A small mount of set ups have a problem, yet people are ready to say that EVERY system will have this problem.. It's Simply NOT TRUE.

while this is not specific to this system ,it applies to all:

turbos heat up motor oil faster than SCs cause sc's are belt driven, turbos are driven by hot compressed exhuast gas...and utilize engine oil as their lube

turbo engagement=hotter motor oil
not so with SC, own both systems in my garage and track both here in AZ...fwiw
