How does it handle in the slush? Did you get snow shoes for it yet or are you waiting for the replacement car to be delivered?

I don't have snow tires and it is exactly for the reason you said. I don't know if I would be able to keep these wheels and let them have the ones on the new car, or if theyd make me pay for the tire changing or what? I even have summer tires and summer wheels, so I really wish I had snow tires on now. I can get around in the slush, but if the snow gets deep at all I don't want to get stuck. |

I grew up in Montana and had rear wheel drive cars there so I'm no stranger to it but I always threw on the snow shoes. This car has the looses back end out of any car I've driven so I am curious to see how it deals with slush, snow, and ice. I live in Portland now and we don't get much at all, maybe twice a year but the real hazard here is freezing rain. I'm holding out another month before getting another set of wheels and tires.

I didnt seem to have any issues in the Snow / Slush. I live on a pretty steep hill and going up my hill about halfway was the only time in my 20 minute drive from work to my house in the snow that my Traction light came on. Living in NE and dealing with snow driving SUV with trailers on them and what not the car was not as bad as I feared but only time will tell this winter
