Basically, though, our turbo kit main section - the UEL headers to turbo to downpipe - are a package that replaces the OEM exhaust manifold from exhaust ports to the header-back pipes. While the interior diameter of the downpipe is larger than the stock pipe, the exterior flange area was designed to match up to the stock flange of the rest of the exhaust.

So any aftermarket exhaust, including ours, should fit to the turbo kit as long as it was designed to bolt up to the standard header. However, if a manufacturer has created a complete exhaust system with header, and hasn't maintained stock flange locations, then it's definitely possible it wouldn't bolt up to our system - or a stock header, or anything else but that manufacturers system.
What's the pipe size that would mate up cleanly with your "down" pipe?

i am very much considering this kit come tax time....
one major question:
ecutek will tune around my cel like for the o2 sensor. however is this kit retaining the o2's and is ecutek still reading the o2's for fueling corrections or is it only reading the map/maf sensors and flying blind essentially.

It's only turning off the error in expected data change between 1 and 2, it still uses the o2 for fuel corrections.

ok awesome... that means it will pass emissions for me.
same way i had my vw 1.8t ecu setup.
thanks man. this is looking more an more like my planned route.

here in pa i can 93 octane at the pump, is 300rwhp a reasonable expectation on stock internals without pushing the limits of the stock bottom end?

No one REALLY knows, but judging from thousands of miles and hundreds of Dyno pulls by Don @ AP, Dynosty and P&L at 400+ whp, it seems 300 whp are reasonable.

Those were all on E85 though, which is much more resistant to detonation than say 93 octane. I'd say if you hit 300whp reliably then be very happy about that and stay right where you are.

Oh.. I see what you mean. Good point. (I was looking more at the HP figures than what type of gas). Personally, I'd telly ou that if you want to get to 300 whp and 93, you need bigger injectors and probably fuel pump upgrade to keep things cool.
