Long Island (Suffolk County) still has long lines as of this morning and still businesses claiming "CASH ONLY", yet they have power and phone. Seems like they are just taking advantage of the situation to avoid credit card processing fees.

Yea I've noticed that too. I've also seen stations that say premium only forcing people with normal commuter cars to pay more for a standard fill up. Who knows the truth behind that though.

that's good to know. I remember seeing that line at Mobil on 59 a few days ago and I decided to just wait to fill my other car

yeah, that line stretched all the way back past Citibank (next to where the old Autozone used to be) a few days ago.

And if you happened to drive down the GSP at that time, the line was about a mile long ON THE PARKWAY. I couldn't believe it. It must have taken at least three hours to get to the pumps.

Rockland County. Home of the Palisades Mall, trees, deer and Rosie O'Donnell.

to be specific, the town I live in is Wesley Hills but not even the people that live here have heard of it.

I did 7 days with no power or heat before it got restored

gas lines are stupid everywhere if you drive up. BUT the lines for filling small gas cans are short now since a lot of people have power back. Waited 5 mins yesterday for a gas can fill and dropped it right in my tank. So I suggest everyone give that a shot

also, for those hunting for gas, check out the gas buddy. You can search by zip to see who has gas

So now it's snowing outside (I thought the forecast just said rain and wind) and I still got my summer's on. Wish me luck!

They changed the forecast to mostly snow last night. I'm supposed to get 3-6" in my area, but I'm seeing that some may get up to 10".

We got about 2-4 inches here. Started around 2PM and I want to say it ended around 8pm or so.
