So this is for anyone without a garage and in northern virginia. Where are you guys keeping your car or what are you doing to prepare for the upcoming hurricane?

I do realize this questions been ask on the general forums, but i wanted to see if there's any place you guys park overnight or etc. Thanks

Not in NOVA, but I think I'm gonna head into Rockville and find a garage to park it before it gets bad. Trees are my main concern.

Virginia Beach is opening up all the city parking garages for people. I'm putting mine in our service department on a lift lol

Does the lift need electricity to be lowered back down?

if there's risk of flood, I'll put my car on the roof of my house if I could, haha. as long as the car is tied down to the lift and the lift is bolted down, I dont see why not.

plus all hydraulic lifts have a manual override lower by default.

Garage
I parked the car at a vre parking garage. Overnight parking is allowed but "at your own risk." I was reading this on vre's site. The property itself is Fairfax government owned and I also read somewhere you can park overnight on ffx owned property.

Looking pretty good for me so far

Thought this was a hurricane meet

My driveway is pretty clear for the most part. My only worry is hail.
