I'll say it: Can we get some answers from Innovate instead of random members speculating. The vendor is here and I'm more than willing to wait on their answers instead of seeing another thread update from someone who doesn't know anything more than the person asking the question.

I would like to see a Dyno before I get too excited but the price considering the hardware seems good.

They will get to the tuning soon enough. They just revealed the kit last week.
What are you talking about, "polite" I said please. the big letters are just to show that i'm eager to know.

Point 2, you mean to tell me that they don't know what their supercharger is making in power...common. They have a price tag but they will find out an hour before us we they get off tuning and dyno.

good point, if you are throwing out a price point you've better know ALL the details of a product.
I we have ALL been waiting a LONG time, we need some numbers.

Not everyone has the same patience. Don't let the people who feel they are more important scare you off. Welcome to the forum.

Anyone looked at the sprintex website to see the gains on other 4 cyclinder engines with the twin screw S/C? This may be comparable to our stage 1 gains?

For example, http://www.sprintex.com.au/sprintex/...mini-cooper-s/

I might of course, be way off the mark

Big problem with this is that you're looking at a supercharger SWAP with the cooper s. In other words removing one supercharger and replacing with another. This is completely different than the power you would gain from adding something to a previously n/a setup

People need to exercise a little patience... Toyobaru hasn't even worked all the bugs out of the car yet (just had my HPFP replaced, no more chirping!) which makes the job of aftermarket suppliers pretty challenging. I am very pleased with all of the aftermarket activity this soon following the introduction of a first year vehicle. Exhaust systems galore, Turbos, Superchargers, Coil Overs, ECU Tuners... All within the first 6 months! We should be giving these guys a round of applause for putting their hard earned cash into R&D so soon!

Looking forward to some dynos. Looks like it could be a fairly painless install.
I think they said the "tuner kits" do not include any tune.

Do not expect pricing to scale down on the tuner kits based on the retail pricing of the ECUTEK cables, but they will have a lower MSRP then the complete kits. I hope this clears things up.

@Innovate Motorsports : Having come from roots blower kits on two different cars, drive belt tensioner design and functionality were always concerns for me. On one of the kits, they replaced the stock tensioner with a scissor type tensioner that was not spring loaded. This meant that in order to keep the belt on, it would have to be adjusted ultra tight so that at high rpm when the belt began to expand it wouldn't jump a rib or slip on the pulley causing loss of boost. This ultra tight belt would frequently have shredding problems and at the very least would dust all over the engine bay.

Does this kit use the stock tensioner or does it replace the one on the car with one of its own design? If the stock tensioner is replaced, does the replacement incorporate a design that auto-tensions?

i think that it does or we would have seen a pulley introduced with the kit at SEMA.
