Just read most of the info, guessing it is due PROEFI ecu. Is it running stand alone or piggyback ?

I am very impressed with the response and spool time

Correct, it is due to being on a standalone/parallel ECU setup

Will you be at IFO in Baytown? I'd really like to check this out in person.

They are going to be using my car to build a turbo kit for the FR-S and I'm extremely excited as this will save me $$$ and extra attention will be used to install/tune the car. The car is expected to be in tuning for 4 weeks and will be using low boost at first with meth injection and super high quality American parts, so there will be a minimal chance at breaking things.

It's morphin' time for The White Ranger

And as for the turbo or supercharger, it all depends on what YOU want and your power goals, etc.

Sorry guys, been mega busy lately. The car has too. I will not be releasing pricing for this kit, because #1 I don't know how much they are selling it for and #2 I paid a different price than what they are selling it for because my car was the guinea pig and parts tester car.

On a much brighter note, the car is undergoing a full retune revamp which includes a brand new E-85 tune at 325whp. Also it will be getting fine tuning for things such as gas mileage and partial throttle response. The check engine lights etc will be removed and will have full control over traction.

When I get it back it will be 95% final tuned. I say 95% because it will be perfect for me at this point in time but 6 to 9 months from now I'll want to bump it up to 375whp or more. But I am going to do some supporting mods first to ensure the longevity of the motor is maintained. Clutch first

Next mods in this order:
Lowering springs (until the stock shocks blow out, then coilovers)
Clutch

This is what D3 told me:

The turbo system with fuel system components is $5499.99, for locals it is an additional $500 for the dyno tune and $300 for the EcuTek license, if the customer already has a EcuTek license them there is no need to buy another one. We can also package this together with exhaust and other components like boost gauge or wideband and offer some price breaks as a package. We are currently building another turn key KLR turbo system for a local so we cannot take a full order on a kit for at least another week or 2, we can take a small deposit though to hold the spot if you would be interested.

This doesn't include the $800.00 for installation.

I'm not at all surprised by these prices. I still can't even believe the quality in this kit. I know it will give me little or no problems at all. $800 is the average price for installation of a boost kit here in Houston. I was quoted the same exact amount installation and tuning for my 370Z to get supercharged.

A bit of an update guys.

Car is getting CP Forged Pistons put in and it will lower the compression to 9.5.

Afterwards the car will be at 325whp on E-85 and 300whp on 93.

Then we can go higher once I find a new clutch

They go for $600 retail but I might get em cheaper. The car is going to be BEAST after this.

9.5 compression is what I was thinking if I go the turbo route. I'll be interested in seeing the development.
