The White Ranger - OMG86 Turbo Edition
 

Named the car the White Power Ranger nearly the day before I met Jason David Frank in person in Houston. So it stayed.

When I purchased it I bought it with the full Five Axis body kit and wheels in staggered form (8.5F/9.5R).

Turbo Build started 8/13/12


Update log:
7/17/12 - Bought HID's, Toyota emblems, custom license plate.
7/23 - HID's installed, at the dealership getting Five Axis kit installed
7/26 - Five Axis body kit installed
7/27 - Toyota badged, NO MORE SCION ANYWHERE!
7/28 - Clutch mod / FR-S badge removed
8/1 - GT86 badged
8/1 - Found out my car will be used to develop a custom Turbo kit for the FR-S :)
8/13 - Dropped car off at jTran Studios (D3 Performance).
8/27 - Wheels arrived at dealership, getting installed Saturday / Turbo still getting installed
9/1 - Wheels installed
9/4 - Exhaust ordered, Magnaflow 2.5" catback
9/5 - ProEFI being ordered
9/12 - Catback installed
10/2 - Stage 1 of Turbo Finished
1/11/13 - Forged pistons and rods and heavy duty clutch installed
3/15 - Stage 2 Turbo finished. ~335whp
7/17 - SiriusXM installed finally
9/25 - Agency Power header installed ~350whp
3/23/15 - Moto East Flex Fuel E85 kit bought along with FBM 485 fuel pump kit.

Just a quick temporary future mod list that I KNOW I will be getting:

Already have:
Five Axis kit
Five Axis wheels
HID's
Rebadge with Toyota emblems
Turbo
CP forged pistons
Rods
ACT heavy duty clutch
Custom downpipe to make a Magnaflow 2.5" catback turbo-back

Near future:
Lowering Springs

Eventually:
Coilovers (probably, because I drift and it's virtually necessary)
Supporting suspension drift mods

ULTIMATE minimum WHP GOAL = 350whp (achieved)


This car will be mostly factory minus body kit, wheels, turbo, and suspension. Trying to keep it as clean as possible.

How do you like going from the Z to a Fr-S so far?

It's tighter and more controllable but obviously lacking power. Itll be a better drift car once suspension and turbo is installed.

Congratulations man! Your gonna love the Five Axis treatment. Make sure the dealer uses the adhesion promoter. The dealership that installed mine skipped this step and now the whole kit needs a reinstall.

you need some tiger stripes to make the FRS the white ranger ;)

Alright time to wrap mine in green and give it a golden hood. Like the original green ranger style.
