Same rotor, thinner pads I think.
Just searched and the rotors are in fact smaller diameter on the EVO, but thicker.

EVO front
320mm diameter
32mm thick (29.8mm min thickness)
43.5mm total height

STi front
326mm diameter
30mm thick
not sure on height

And that'd make sense as to why the pads are thinner. I have a full set of these in the garage waiting to be reconditioned...

I'm thinking about ordering the parts to make this swap. I haven't seen anyone mention brake lines, but I am assuming the BRZ brake lines in OEM and stainless steel aftermarket variety will bolt up to the 08+ STi calipers front and rear.

Did you go with the STI calipers? If so, where did you them?

Has anybody running a bbk, or Sti calipers had pad knockback yet? Curious how stout the front components are.

so i have 05 brembo's laying around. i plan on putting them on the brz. i understnad that you need to swap bleeders to mount then correctly but my maine question is has anyone tried fitting the stock wheels on with front brembo's? how much of a spacer do you need to clear, i plan on slapping them on in the spring and i want to know if i should look into a new winter setup for next year and try to sell the stock wheels.

I installed them on Monday. You will have to severely bend the dust shield or cut it off like I did.

Rear rotors have to be for an 08+ STi with re-drilled holes. wrxbrakes carries them.

The 04 sti 5x100 rotors DO NOT work.
