I think avo said they wont be available until january. That makes me wait until spring to order. If they were available now, I'd already have it on my car.

Certainly not a TD05 of any type!
Listen to the video he said TD05-18G.
I know you got the numbers from their website but that's what the AVO guy on the vid said.

Can we crank up the whp if we bump up the boost a little bit?

I was curious about this as well. We have 94 octane up here, thought it might be able to handle a little more boost?

when you search the wheel specs AVO are doing for the turbo on this one, you'll find that Kando Dynamic do the same setup in a few of their turbo's, some with T25 inlet/outlet like this one looks to use.

I'm still waiting to hear about the fact that the autos use that space on the passenger-side head for something else. If this means we can't use this system, that sucks. I wanted a UEL system and really like AVO.

We are not limited to this boost level/power at all - future upgrades can ramp up the power tremendously. We are just focused on our stage 1 kit reliability first. Then we will start releasing stage packages for bigger power later on.

The car has already done 2400 miles on the turbo kit, the majority of that on 91 octane (which, yes, really, really sucks), and we've gotten it to a very nice point on that gas quality. Anybody with better gas will naturally get better performance.

automatics

Automatic tuning and testing will commence after we finish up this stage 1 tuning/testing on the manual. Keep in mind here, the Japanese Legacy with a similar setup comes mainly in automatic form, but doesn't have that air pump. We know the reason why, and will release details about the automatic kit setups later.

AVO are you guys planning on running a dyno on 93 oct soon?
230whp is basically a 2012 WRX power so that's a lot for this little car.

I still think 250whp is the sweet spot!

Do you guys think we can make close to 350whp on E85 and all the other things, fuel pump injectors tuned catback intakes etc..?

Which tuner are you going to use?

Those guys were recommended via AVO, which is fairly hard to go past. I also have had multiple recommendations for them when I was going to tune my Rex.

I doubt it will be that expensive, maybe a few hundred. I'd imagine it won't be much, if any more expensive than a road worthyness inspection is.

The turbo is rated for 380 but im not sure if thats wheel or crank. With e85 and support mods im sure you could reach that power number.

Wouldnt this need and engineers cert to be "legit" along with the emissions test?
